Ensure accessible and culturally and linguistically responsive testing and contact tracing, including low or no cost testing sites.
Treatment & PPE
Establish special health insurance benefit program for undocumented, underinsured, or uninsured adults not otherwise eligible. Require hospitals, clinics, and research teams to develop culturally specific protocols to ensure safety and that Latinx communities are effectively served. Ensure that provision of PPE is accessible, and prioritized to reach the most vulnerable Latinx community members.
Wraparound
Provide dignified wraparound supports to Latinos and Indigenous people who test positive. Services must be flexible in times, days, locations to meet the work schedules of essential workers.

Enhance/expand communications and outreach for COVID prevention and mitigation.

Make and protect investments in the Latino/a/x Student Success Act.

Linguistically-Appropriate Support
Ensure schools and educators communicate with families in their preferred language, and that parents receive the resources they need to successfully support their children’s education. Hiring practices need to reflect this priority.

Earmarked Latinx business relief funds
Allocate funding earmarked for Latinx businesses (including those operating with ITIN only) for coronavirus relief and recovery.
Technical assistance beyond 2020
Along with resources made directly available to businesses, allocate funding for the 2021-23 biennium for Technical Assistance support (including adequate administrative dollars to run the programs) for Latinx business recovery efforts. Current TA resources expire at the end of 2020.

Oregon Worker Relief Fund
Allocate additional funding for Oregon Worker Relief Fund, as a $100M gap remains for providing pandemic relief funds for people with financial need who are excluded from the federal unemployment insurance program due to their immigration status.
