Join special guest Josh Balloch, VP, Government Relations & Health Policy, AllCare Health to learn about Oregon House Bill 3353 which will advance health equity through Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) in Oregon.
HB 3353 directs the Oregon Health Authority to negotiate an agreement with the Federal Government to allow (and help fund) Oregon CCOs to make targeted non-medical investments to help Oregon Health Plan members and communities improve the health of the whole community. The bill directs that specific funding be dedicated to address Racial and Cultural inequities and improving Behavioral Health. It includes many levels of benefit and allows for some much needed flexibility. It also has accountability measures to ensure that local community voices are involved in the distribution of resources.
