ENGLISH

Currently, masks are always required statewide unless you are:

  • in your own residence

  • in your own personal vehicle

  • under the age of five

  • in a private and individual workspace

  • in a situation that makes it necessary to remove the mask briefly because your identity must be confirmed by visual comparison, such as in a bank or if you interact with the police

  • suffering from a medical condition that makes it difficult for you to breathe, or a disability that prevents you from wearing a mask. You can request an accommodation from the company, or place, or transit authority

#OHA does not recommend wearing a plastic face shield alone. While face shields can be very good at blocking droplets, they are not good at blocking aerosols that can surround the shield. The #OHA recommends that face shields be used only to a limited extent, for example when talking to someone who is deaf or hard of hearing and needs to lip-read in order to communicate. #PorMiFamilia
